Wavelength is an award-winning ensemble of actors and educators dedicated to using humor and improvisation to create theatrical keynote performances

for professional staff development training for educators.  Founded in 1980 by a former high school English teacher, Wavelength has created memorable,

transformative professional development training for over 30 years.

 Like an edition of 'Saturday Night Live' written especially for educators.

Wavelength has presented live comedic keynote presentations addressing key issues in education,  to 1.5 million educators in more than 2,500 school systems and at international conferences in Singapore, the Netherlands, Prague, and Ho (Ho, Ho) Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Wavelength has keynoted conferences at  ASCD, Learning Forward, AASA, NASSP, NAESP, AMLE, the National School Boards Assocation, and the European Council of International Schools with cutting-edge insight and topical humor,  including our new show on Common Core State Standards - "UnCommon Core Comedy!"

Wavelength's actor-educators offer interactive workshops that use creative, dramatic, kinesthetic learning techniques to enhance collaboration, creativity, collegiality and achievement.  One, two or three ensemble members direct teachers, support staff or administrators through fast-paced sessions that merge proven theater concepts with educational best practices.  The result is an experience taking educators from "Ha-Ha to Ah-Ha" on a broad range of challenging issues such as classroom management, bullying, Professional Learning Communities and the arts as teaching tools.
